Comme annonc\u00e9 dans le budget f\u00e9d\u00e9ral de 2022, le gouvernement du Canada a instaur\u00e9 une taxe de luxe sur la vente ou l\u2019importation de certains v\u00e9hicules et a\u00e9ronefs dont le prix est sup\u00e9rieur \u00e0 100 000 $ et de certains navires dont le prix est sup\u00e9rieur \u00e0 250 000 $.  La nouvelle taxe sur certains biens de luxe<\/a> est entr\u00e9e en vigueur le 1er<\/sup> septembre 2022. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

La taxe de luxe ne s\u2019appliquera pas aux entreprises qui doivent s\u2019inscrire aupr\u00e8s de l\u2019Agence du revenu du Canada (ARC) en vertu du r\u00e9gime de la taxe de luxe. Les soci\u00e9t\u00e9s inscrites sont g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement des soci\u00e9t\u00e9s qui, dans le cadre de leurs activit\u00e9s commerciales, fabriquent, vendent en gros, vendent au d\u00e9tail ou importent les marchandises en question au-del\u00e0 du seuil de prix vis\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En g\u00e9n\u00e9ral, la taxe de luxe ne s\u2019appliquera qu\u2019aux personnes qui ne sont pas inscrites au r\u00e9gime de la taxe de luxe, comme les consommateurs qui ach\u00e8tent ou importent le produit s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9 pour leur usage personnel et leur plaisir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Les d\u00e9tails de l\u2019inscription sont fournis dans l\u2019avis <\/strong>Inscription en vertu de la Loi sur la taxe sur certains biens de luxe \u2013 Canada.ca<\/a>, publi\u00e9e par l\u2019ARC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La taxe sera calcul\u00e9e comme le moindre des montants suivants :<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Le montant imposable multipli\u00e9 par 10 %<\/li>
  2. Le montant qui r\u00e9sulte du fait de soustraire 100 000 $ du montant imposable<\/strong> et de multiplier la diff\u00e9rence par 20 %<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
